Art is not just aesthetics — it is a living tool for knowing yourself and a powerful impulse for personal growth. Creativity shapes new meanings, removes inner barriers and helps you find real freedom of expression in life and in business.

Art Creator’s LAB (ACL) is a space where contemporary performance art and Drama Healing meet. We create an environment where everyone can explore their emotional range, release tension in the body and voice, and master the language of their own body and feelings.

When you come to the studio, you do not simply learn acting. You become part of shaping Da Nang’s new cultural code and join a strong community of like-minded people.

Art Creator’s LAB is a chance to unlock your potential and leave your mark on the history of contemporary art.

Method

Method: Drama Healing and contemporary performance

We do not memorise classical plays or teach you to “play other people’s roles”. Our method is a synthesis of:

1

Drama Healing

Gentle living-through and legitimising of suppressed emotions (fear, anger, joy, sadness) through a safe stage experiment.

2

Body and voice practices

Freeing the voice, releasing tension in the jaw and throat, working with the centre of gravity.

3

Contemporary performance

Working with an object, space, the audience’s focus and the pause.

What it is

What is Drama Healing

Drama Healing is a practice that uses theatre tools not to stage a show but to set something inside you in motion: you live through feelings on stage, in body, voice and character, instead of holding them in. The method draws on ideas from drama therapy and psychodrama: role, metaphor, story and action help express what is hard to say in words.

What matters is not acting skill but honest experience. No stage experience is needed. Work happens in a group of up to 12, inside a safe frame with clear rules, led by a practising performer-teacher.

Role and imageA role makes it easier to say what is frightening to say in the first person.
Body and voiceEmotion lives in the body: we release tension and bring back voice and breath.
ActionWe do not discuss feelings, we live them in an exercise, a sketch, a scene.
SafetyGroup rules, the right to pause, and a careful close to every practice.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I need experience to start?

No. No stage experience is needed: the course is designed for people without acting training. What matters is not skill but honest experience.

How long is the course and how often are the classes?

One cycle lasts 3 months (12 weeks). Each week has 2 mandatory 2-hour sessions and 1 optional 2-hour session (Drama Healing lab, sharing, voice jams): up to 6 hours of practice.

Where do the classes take place?

In Da Nang, in the An Thuong area. Classes are held in person.

Who is the course for?

People who want to release emotional and physical tension; leaders and entrepreneurs who need stage presence and charisma; people who want to safely work through accumulated stress; and anyone looking for a strong community of like-minded people in Da Nang.

How is Drama Healing different from psychotherapy?

Drama Healing is a creative practice built on theatre tools: role, body, voice and action. It is led by a practising performer-teacher, not a doctor or psychotherapist, and it does not replace therapy. If you need medical or psychotherapeutic help, please see a qualified specialist.

How many people are in a group?

No more than 12. A small group gives a safe environment and the facilitator’s attention for every participant.

How do I enrol and how much does it cost?

Leave an application using the form on the site. We discuss the cost and terms of participation personally after we meet; the 1st cohort runs on special terms. Enrolment closes once 12 participants have joined.
